Course Description: 

This training will give students the ability to understand the food service industry from a practical standpoint, focusing mainly on the objectives of management, establishment, and running and maintaining a business in the food service industry. Our goal is to give them tools to become leaders in the field by providing practical tools to help them simplify the complex operations of the food service industry. This program will outline procedures and methodologies from the very start of an operation to the point where it is running smoothly, showing how process and accountability can be formulated to help keep business operations on track.

Learning Objectives:

  • Assess restaurant/food service needs and provide adequate solution.

  • Demonstrate a firm understanding of food safety & alcohol laws and regulations.

  • Maintain a food service establishment day to day operations.

     

You will meet the objectives listed above through a combination of the following activities in this course including:

  • Hands on training

  • Completing NRA certifying examinations

Course Length: 

Classes begin on January 9th, 2023. 

Duration: 12 weeks (3 months)
